Budget nest has everything a weary traveler needs
(1) I did not realize that the bathroom and kitchen were in the main house. From the accommodations I was in, you do have to go outside for these facilities. Being a camper, this is not a big deal, but others might find it awkward. Drake Roost does have other rooms in the main house. (2) All communication was by text; directions to the back shed were not clear. (3) I was told that I could pay when I got there; this was not the case. I was told I had to pay ahead. This could have been quite awkward, as I had been camping and did not always had cell service (to pay by phone).
I was thrilled to be in the "Garden Shack" -- a tiny house that had a comfortable bed, nightstand, desk/shelf & chair, two lights (bedside and overhead), and a heater and fan. There was barely room to turn around, but it was comfortable enough, and VERY quiet. If one needed space, the back yard had a picnic table, and the kitchen and bath in the main house were clean and well-appointed. But make no mistake, this is a BUDGET option - it is very plain. It was okay in late September, but I'm honestly not sure the pad heater would be able to keep up in Saskatchewan winters.

No wash room.
There is nothing to like.
